This etching was drawn directly onto a zinc plate on location at Orford Quay in East Suffolk. A short distance from the quay and sailing club, abandoned aged fishing boats lie at rest, deteriorating and part sunken into the silt of The River Alde. Orford Ness stretches away to the coast on the other side of the harbour.
