A five colour lino print inspired by iconic features of historic Greenwich, London.

I live near the Royal Observatory and Cutty Sark and almost exactly on the 0° Prime Meridian. The Meridian was first established in 1851 and was possibly the most significant development in the history of navigation and ultimately in measuring time across the entire world. Amongst all the other established birdlife, parakeets are now common to London’s parks and Greenwich is no exception. Stories of how they came to be here are many and varied!
