Most recent exhibition – Drawn From The Edge

Following two successful shows in 2017; ‘Discovering Roads and Bridges’ at Craft Central in Clerkenwell and ‘Faulting & Folding’ at the Lounge Gallery, Thames-Side Studios I continued to concentrate on drawing, painting and recording on location.

This culminated in a large solo exhibition ‘Drawn From The Edge’ at Tenby Museum & Art Gallery in Feb/March 2020.

All the works (of drawing, painting and printmaking) had the common theme of places where land meets a body of water. The Pembrokeshire coast has long been an inspiration and I base myself in Tenby frequently, so it was particularly special to show my work there and around half of the show was based on that coastline. The other half was inspired by a wide variety of locations in the UK and much further afield.

I was thrilled by the attendance at the Private View, which took place on what turned out to be a dramatically stormy weekend in early February, and received extremely positive feedback on what turned out to be a very successful show.
